The OMV was founded in 1974 with two aims: To give people with disabilities opportunities for experiences away from their day to day lives. To give young people (17 - 29) the experience of caring for people with disabilities, of volunteering and of organising these activities and events.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July 2010, nearly 500 people from across Europe with varying levels of disability will be coming to Pembrokeshire, Wales for a week to take part in the 27th International Disabled Holiday Camp. I have been involved with these camps since 2001 and this year is the first ever camp being held in Britain. My own particular fundraising goal is to keep everybody dry! I will be crossing my fingers in the hope of having a dry week however in all likelihood it will rain at some point and so we aim to provide durable, waterproof ponchos and baseball caps to keep our disabled and able-bodied European campers dry during their British summer holiday!

Every support you can give will go a long way towards making the camp in Britain one of the best yet. If you would like more details on the camp, please check out our website but be sure to come back here and help with our fundraising.
