Story
I might not be able to keep the sea at bay, but looking at that picture reminds me that I ought to do something about holding back the tide of my oft-expanding waistband!
I also figured that, while involved in my own personal battle of the bulge by taking up running, it makes sense for me to do something worthwhile.
On Saturday 22nd August, I will be taking part in a 5km run in Leicester. While doing the run, I would like if possible to raise some funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust - a charity who are helping to combat leukemia, in particular by keeping the largest register of bone marrow donors in the UK.
I know I recently plagued some of you to donate for another of my recent runs - but if there's any chance you can scrape together a few pennies for me, and for this really excellent charity - I'd be ever so grateful.
Many thanks, and I'll let you know how I get on.
