I am part of a team of friends taking on a challenge of climbing Ben Nevis and kayaking 60 miles all within three days. For beginners at kayaking like we are it is recommended that the great glen canoe trail  take 5 days and that doesn't include the climb of Ben Nevis 

To explain why we decided to do it in three days you need to know a bit about one on the charities we are doing it for. The Steve Prescott foundation was set up by Steve Prescott (MBE) in 2007 after he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer, which sadly took his life in 2013. Every charity event Steve did he made it in to a challenge, hence the reason why we are trying to complete it in 3 days and not 5 with the added extra of Ben Nevis.

As a team we are not just supporting one charity. One half are supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the other half are supporting Steve Prescott Foundation. Please find the time an money to sponsor us as a whole team and reach our target of £3000
