Mum loved animals and Compassion in World Farming - set up by a dairy farmer in 1967 - do amazing work to improve standards for livestock around the world. They aren’t activists, the team which is largely made up of vets and scientists, work with business and government to improve standards. I have myself worked alongside them for many years.
