We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Over a year ago I met a wonderful little girl and was asked to be her nanny. From the first day I looked after Isla, I fell in love with her. We had an amazing summer together with picnics here and there, going to singing classes, and having play dates with her close friends. One day Anna noticed that Isla wasn’t the same, sadly a few days later I got a phone call and it was Anna telling me that Isla had a very rare brain tumor, I couldn’t believe it, and like everyone else I was heartbroken. Anna and Mikey are two very special people, who selflessly let me be part of their family, and be close to Isla up until the end. Isla was only 15 months young.

Cameron and I are joining Mikey on 2 legs of Isla’s Tour, which is a 1,000 mile cycle tour around England over 14 days. The tour will go through all the places Mikey and Anna visited with Isla, during her life. We will taking on Stage 3 from Exeter to Broadmayne (60 miles), and Stage 15 from Epirus Road, London to Windsor Racecourse (23 miles).

Please be generous and help us fundraise for the ‘Isla Cecil Brighter Future Fund’.
