I will be embarking on my first half marathon on Sunday 26 September 2010 and whilst I tend to partake in race events for the fun of it, I thought this one should have some meaning. 

Just to explain a litle bit about the charity, Signpost International works in the Philippines, Uganda, India and the UK to alleviate poverty and injustice through community participation and empowerment.  My sister, Chrisie, works for Signpost and so I know that they are a worthwhile charity, making a lot of difference to the lives of so many across the globe.
