Many of our friends and family know about JJ Chalmers, who is a close family friend who was badly injured when serving as a Marine in Afghanistan nearly 2 years ago. He has endured multiple surgical procedures to repair his wounds and is actually back in hospital again as I write this for further surgery in an attempt to give him further control of one of his arms - something most of us dont need to think about - but for JJ and others like him is something they have to live with every day.

I know JJ has enjoyed the support of Help for Heroes who have taken him and other wounded ex-service men and women on holidays to give them and their familes a break.

We are all hopeful that JJ makes a full recovery but it's going to take time yet - and with your support for Help for Heroes this will allow the charity to keep up their excellent work.
