Hi, I am Megan and I am 8 years old.  I love dancing, running and cycling and I want my little cousin Lucas Turnbull to be able to do it too.

Lucas is three years old and he has cerebral palsy.  He can’t stand on his own and can only walk using a walker and tripods (which are great fun but they get stuck everywhere)!

 

My uncle and auntie told us that an operation could help him lots.  It’s done in the USA and if he has it, he’ll be able to walk without help… ride a bike and even run!

I wanted to do something to help as the operation and therapy will cost £50,000 and I was told my savings weren’t enough…

 

So dad and I found the Bournemouth marathon and I will run 1,5km to raise money for him.
