This is part 1 of my 2016 challenge, which will consist of:

• 1.5K swim
• 25km walk
• 40km bike ride

I'd doing them on separate days so that I can spread the training and keep myself motivated all throughout the summer. 

This event is an open water swim (yes, in a wetsuit, joy), in Dorney Lake, location of lots of the 2012 Olympic water events.

Apparently the water is clean and the event won't go ahead if the water is less than 11 degrees (eek)!
