I am planning to complete the Lyke Wake Walk, which is a complete crossing of the North Yorkshire moors along their main east-west watershed, a distance of approximately 40 miles.  This has to be done in a 24 hour period to  succesfully complete the challenge. 

 

A friend of mine, Sue, suggested I might like to join her on this challenge.  I am doing this to raise money for Open Arms Malawi. A friend of Sue's (Dave Grainger) is visiting Malawi in the Summer to work on some of the projects we are fundraising for.
