Micah's ride for Nepal · 16 May 2015

At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

For some time now Micah has been talking about breaking open his money box to give his money to charity. After some discussion about why he wanted to do this his reply was "I want to give all my coins to people who need them". He has always had a heart for giving whether it's a cuddle to a crying sister or his coins for charity. Jo and I spoke to him about how he could make a bigger impact and suggested a sponsored challenge. Micah decided that cycling was his favourite activity and that he would like to complete a cycle ride. We found  a bridleway 11km route from Dunsop Bridge and I asked Micah what he thought about riding that far. His response, as usual, was "if the people need the money then I'll do it!!"

He is so excited about being able to make a difference to people's lives and wants to thank anyone and everyone who sponsors him in advance.
