Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The four of us - we would like to think intrepid explorers, most others would think a rag tag bunch of fools - have accepted the charge to complete the Three Peak Challenge for the Lord Mayors Appeal 2010, Pitch Perfect.

The challenge is to complete Snowdon (1085m), Scarfell Pike (978m) and Ben Nevis (1344m) within 24 hours, starting on Saturday 18 September 2010 at 8am and finishing (hopefully) on or before 8am Sunday 19 September 2010. We are competing for The Worshipful Company of Plaisterers (www.plaistererslivery.co.uk) in an inter livery competition which is two fold - one to raise as much money as possible for The Lord Mayor's Appeal and two, to win the race to the finish. We are aiming to win on both counts and would really appreciate your help in acheiving this - please give generously to help inspire us to push ourselves both physically and mentally to 'leave it all on the mountains'.

The Lord Mayors Appeal 2010, Pitch Perfect, has two principal beneficiaries, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Cricket Foundation. Having identified a shared ambition to enhance the lives of young people in London the two organisations have joined forces under the banner of the Appeal to create Pitch Perfect. Pitch Perfect aims to bring dynamic musical and cricketing opportunities into schools and their communities in London's most challenging boroughs. Through opportunities to play and perform in teams and groups, Pitch Perfect will support thousands of young Londoners to develop new skills and levels of aspiration, acquire confidence and self esteem. Full details of the Appeal can be found at www.thelordmayorsappeal.org.
