The National Animal Welfare Trust cares for and rehomes over 1300 animals a year, from cats and dogs to smalls and sheep! Active in all the communities it serves, the Trust has 5 rescue centres in the south of the UK, supported entirely by the generosity of the animal-loving public.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I have decided to walk 20 feet across red hot coals in order to raise money for the National Animal Welfare Trust.  By sponsoring me, you will be helping the National Animal Welfare Trust to continue their amazing work in rescuing, caring for, protecting and re-homing vulnerable animals.

Founded in 1971, NAWT is now one of the top 10 animal rescue and re-homing charities in England, and runs 5 rescue & re-homing centres across the country. Their centres are located in Watford, Berkshire, Essex, Somerset and Cornwall. NAWT is Home to a surprisingly wide variety of animals primarily dogs and cats but farm animals, horses and donkeys, ducks, poultry and small domestic pets too.

NAWT is a non-political and non-campaigning organisation, it simply concerns itself with looking after some of life's casualties. It receives no money from the government and relies entirely on voluntary contributions to carry out its work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your time and kind contribution.
