This page is in the memory of our beautiful princess Gracie who passed away on Monday 8 February 2010 at the age of 10 months. Gracie was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 when she was just 6 months old.
Gracie was such a happy little girl, she was always smiling and talking and she brought so much joy and happiness to many people in her short life. Gracie had the most beautiful blue eyes and told you exactly what she was thinking, even when she was asleep she slept with one eye open so she didn't miss out on anything. Gracie was a very sociable little girl and enjoyed meeting up with her little friends, Logan, Lois, Thorsten, Archie, Joseph and Milan.Gracie's favourite nursery rhymes were "row row your boat", she especially loved it when you moved her little legs to the words and she also loved "twinkle twinkle little star".Gracie, will be sadly missed but will be forever in our hearts.
I am going to attempt a parachute jump on Thursday 29 April (weather permitting). I will be joining Claire (Gracie's mum), Aunty Kelly and Lorraine (Gracie's friend, Logan's mum). I am raising money for The Jennifer Trust, for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, as they do a fantastic job in supporting families who are affected by SMA.
