So...i have taken the plunge and signed up for Aspire's Channel Swim. The event takes place between Monday 13th September and Sunday 5th December 2010.

The challenge is to swim the equivalent of the English Channel (22 miles) over a 12 week period to raise money for Aspire and people with Spinal Cord Injuries. 

Please give whatever you can as it all goes towards a good cause and could change somebody's life forever. 

I'm doing this for 2 reasons.

1. We all take so much throughout our lives, and i thought it about time that i gave something back and raised money for a good cause

2. Get much fitter so that i can continue to do this sort of event in the future.
