I have recently completed a WSPA Bear Adventure Trek in Romania. I walked  50 miles through the Carpathian Mountains to help fund Romania's first bear sanctuary. The sanctuary is currently home to some 40 resuced bears previously kept in confined cages with either a concrete or wire floor. These bears were taken from the wild as cubs and have been poorly treated for many years before being rescued. The photo shots are of some of the rescued bears enjoying life as it was meant to be. Your donation will help safeguard these bears to live the rest of their lives in almost their natural environment.
