I’m taking part in a Land’s End To John O’Groats cycle ride to raise money for
Macmillan Cancer Support between 29
th August and 7
th September. There are 10 riders all of whom are now training hard to be ready for what I think most would agree is a tough challenge.
Many of us have been or will be impacted by cancer during our lives either directly or indirectly. Macmillan is there for us in a time of dire confusion and upset. Preparing us to understand and accept what life may bring in the foreseeable future to both us and those close to us.
This event is a big commitment in terms of both time and effort. From a personal perspective I need all the sponsorship support I can get to make the sweat and tears worthwhile.
What would you pay for insight and understanding when in the patient’s chair? Please give as generously as you can and spread the word to those that I have missed.
Thanks, Mike
