Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 1990 I became a father for the second time to a baby boy,Matt. When Matt was a couple of weeks old, my wife Sandra and I were called from the hospital where Matt had been admitted. He was very poorly and we thought the doctor was going to tell us all about the problem Matt had. The doctor did just that and also told us that Matt was born Downsyndrome. Well after a few years of trips to hospital Matt got a bit stronger. We looked for places for him to meet other kids and for us to meet other parents to talk to and share the disability knowledge. Disability Challenges had just started and we gave it a go. We have been using their different age group facilities for near 20 years now. What a great charity and all run on donations and fund raising. So please think of the people you are helping when you give. It will make you feel good inside.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and please give what you can it all adds up.
