Story

A few words from Laura: Thank you for checking out this fundraiser. This will be my first marathon and I am delighted to use the opportunity to help Dogs Trust.

Dogs Trust is committed to giving all dogs a safe, healthy furever home, and they work tirelessly at it. Did you know their managers live on site at their Dublin re-homing center? Just last year, they found homes for 664 pups! And, as of May 17th this year they were already on track to exceed that number in 2023! I had the pleasure of visiting their rehoming center and I can attest they go the extra mile for every one of the dogs under their care.  They provide shelter, veterinary care, training, rehoming, play, and everything pups need to step into a better life. We have a shelter pup at home, Tyrion, and we couldn't' imagine our lives without him.

But it doesn't stop there, Dogs Trust also helps educate dog owners and the public so that we can all live in harmony. I'm obviously a dog person, but I understand not everyone is. Even if you're not a dog person, the work Dogs Trust carries out helps you too. They provide training for both pups and humans! Dogs Trust educates both children and adults about responsible dog ownership and safety so we can all respect each other's boundaries. And, they get pups off the street and into loving homes. This all benefits you too.

But don't just take my word for it, you can learn more about Dogs Trust here: https://www.dogstrust.ie/
