WE DID IT !!  We completed the 10km run on Sunday 6 September - Dan at 46 mins and Milly at 64 mins.

Dan has also just run a PB at the "Run to the Beat" London Half Marathon on Sunday 27 Sept - 1hr 45min 11 sec

Our original target of £750 has been well and truely hit as we've now also completed £1,000 milestone.  We are still collecting donations so please remember that every pound really does help.

Please support Milly and Dan for the upcoming Bupa Yorkshire 10km Run
in Sheffield on Sunday 6 September

Please support us as we raise money for the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Kidney Association (DaBKA).  We have chosen this charity as both Dan and his Dad (Alan) have had kidney problems.  Alan spent a year in hospital at the age of 18 while he was recovering from having one of his kidneys removed due to TB.  More recently, Dan has been in and out of hospital in 2009 due to kidney stones, one of which is stubborn enough to still be in there!  As Chairman of DaBKA, Alan and the team are working to raise money for renal care, support for patients and hospital equipment in the local community. 

Please give generously to support this very worthwhile cause.

About the charity
DaBKA formed in 2008, to help and support renal patients in the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Area.  The trustees and committee members are all renal patients.  So far, we have donated information DVDs and a urinalysis machine to the Doncaster renal unit, as well as subsidising social events for patients.  Every pound really helps, thanks for your support.
