As many of you will know, I am a Dundee GP who is always looking for a new challenge. I enjoy cycling - though not done much since a trip to Holland with my son a few years ago. I have also been involved in live music since the age of 9 when I took up the violin. I am still at it as I am currently president of Dundee Symphony Orchestra and sing in Anstruther Philharmonic Choir. That is why a sponsored cycle in aid of ClassicFM's charity Musicmakers appeals so much - the charity gives grants to projects that help give people who might otherwise miss out, the chance to experience live music. I have already made a start on getting fit enough to be able to cycle 307 miles in 4 days - it will certainly be tough!  Please sponsor me and this great charity - I will certainly be working hard for it. All money raised will go direct to the charity as I have opted to pay the actual costs of my participation myself.

 

I HAVE DONE IT - COMPLETED ON 5TH SEPTEMBER!!  Was very tough but worth it. So far raised in excess of £1700 but not too late to add more!  A huge thank you  to all who have already sponsored me and supported me in this crazy idea!
