Story
NABS President Stephen Woodford is running the London Marathon for NABS. As an experienced marathon runner, we're hoping that Stephen will set a new personal best as well as raising some much needed funds for NABS, the charity that offers financial, emotional and professional support to anybody working in the creation or delivery of advertising.
Your support means that NABS will be able to continue to help people who are dealing with cancer, depression, long-term and terminal illness, disability and homelessness as well as those going through redundancy or dealing with other workplace issues. In 2009, NABS supported 600 beneficiaries and their dependents, including 200 children. It took 8,500 calls to the National Helpline on employment advice, welfare support and careers coaching. Your donation will go directly to help a friend or colleague in need.
Huge thanks to those who have donated offline: Mark Howe, Martin Lester, Roger Eastoe, Nigel Payne, Keith Fowler, Vicki Fowler, Tess Alps, Terry Mansfield, Andrew Pawson, Valda Warren, Wendy Mutton, Jeremy Miles, Judith Salinson, Lindsay Dolton-Radley, Denise Larkin, Dave King, Margaret Wilson and Colin Clarke.
Thanks also to our wonderful NABS Representatives who have raised money by selling raffle tickets. Raffle donations came from Leagas Delaney, Dare Digital, DDB, ISBA, M&C Saatchi, Publicis, Rufus Leonard and Universal McCann.
