Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
NCE Computer Group Europe's chosen charity of the year for 2014 is Wiltshire Air Ambulance and in order to raise as much money as possible for such an excellent cause 8 employees from NCE have committed to a 15,000ft Sky Dive! As crazy as it sounds, we all know that it is to help keep a life saving machine in the air, so we really do appreciate your support!
Not only is it a brilliant cause and local for us here at our HQ in Wiltshire, but it is also close to home for many of our employees. With the charity's partnership of over two decades with the Wiltshire Police coming to an end the cost of £700,000 to keep the ambulance in the air has risen to a huge £2.5m. Along with this cost a new helicopter is needed to keep the service saving lives, and the WAA have just signed the contract for a brand new Bell 429 helicopter, which will be the first of it's kind to fly as an air ambulance in the UK. Also The Wiltshire Air Ambulance are one in only a few air ambulances that have the ability to fly at night and as 12% of call outs happen after dark, the ability for the WAA to fly at night is extremely important.
Our support for this incredible charity is now more important than ever, and no matter how little you can donate it will make a difference. Please help NCE make a difference to somebody's future by donating through our page to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
