We are still accepting donations up until October where we will be doing a  presentation at the Newcastle Marie Curie Hospice. Every penny donated via the JustGiving page will be double by our company Nationwide House Clearance. The money doubled will go directly to the hospice in Newcastle so please keep donating.

Myself, two of my work colleagues and my wife are running the Great North Run together 2017 in aid of Marie Curie in memory of my work colleague's mum Angelika Milton who they looked after in her final weeks before she sadly passed away 3 years ago tomorrow (4th September) and to everyone who we know and love who has also passed away through cancer or are suffering with it.

We are also doing the run to help raise funds for Marie Curie so they can continue to do the great work they do in helping people with cancer. Cancer is an ugly and horrible disease that has affected many people in my own life in some way or another. My own wife Farida Richardson who is also doing the run had thyroid cancer and another of my work colleague's sister-in-law Lesley Furness Was-Moat also sadly passed away recently through cancer. Marie Curie helped and so we want to give something back.

My own company will double whatever has been donated by friends, family and well wishers so please donate as little or as much as you can. Many thanks Chris & the team.
