I have decided to register for 'Be A Daredevil For Dementia Charity Abseil' down Gorey Castle in Jersey on Sunday 12/9/21 just 2 weeks before our Big Day; our Wedding, so I thought it would be a good kick start with a difference to our wedding countdown!! Robert's only concern is he doesn't want me hobbling down the aisle!!! I have reassured him I will be fine; I know what to expect having abseiled down the same place a few years ago for another Charity: Talent!!

We are both mature and don't have need for a Wedding List as such so thought having a Charity Donation as one of our Wedding Gift Options was the way to go!! This Charity is close to our hearts, having both seen our later mothers living with the challenges Vascular Dementia brings. We know from personal experience the importance of the help and support that Dementia Jersey offers both the person living with Dementia and their families.
