Story

Hi All!
On the 17th October I'll be taking part in a 5k run for Disability Challengers. For those of you who know me, and have ever had the unique pleasure of seeing me (try to) run please stop laughing, it's for a very good cause.
Disability Challengers provides an invaluable service to childrren and young people with disabilites. All too often in our society families find their children needlessly excluded from the kinds of fun most of us took for granted growing up. Challengers aims to address this by providing play and lesiure services to children and young adults with any kind of learning difficulty or disability. No one is excluded!
I've seen first hand what a wonderful difference Challengers makes to so many people's lives.
So if you do one thing today, dig deep and give what you can to a fantastic cause.
And if you enjoy a giggle come along to Stoke Park on the 17th October and watch me attempt to run 5k on a Sunday morning! (Popcorn not included!)

About the charity

All children need to play, but for disabled children it is essential to help them reach their full potential. Challengers provides numerous play schemes for disabled children from across the South East. However, there are hundreds of children missing out every day and your gift can help them play.
