Story
Once again folks I am embarking on a challenging cycle tour organised by our Prestwick colleagues in aid of Charity. This year the charity is Combat Stress (see http://www.combatstress.org.uk/ for more details). They were pioneers set up after WW1 in helping those with what is today called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, get re-habilitated.
The cycle challenge is over 4 days with about 80 miles a day being covered. They are over 100 of us going. We are visiting Isle of Arran, Kintyre, Islay, Jura and finally Bute. As usual we are camping - every night - not to maximise the sympathy vote but becuase it is so remote there is no alternative! Last years ride was a great success - we went to Wester Ross and Ullapool and in total raised over £20000. We would love to beat the amount raised especially in light of the continuing suffering of many of our young soldiers. So please could you sponsor me. If I could raise with your help £200 that would be great.
Thanks in anticipation
Neil
