I was asked by a friend if I would help her raise money for the British Heart Foundation, a charity which is very close to her...errrr... heart.

She has some lame ideas for things to do, like dressing all in red for a day, and I said.... if you want to earn peoples money, you really need to earn it, and get a sweat on. So here we are. Running the Blackpool 10K, side by side. Team "Stop It and Tidy Up" was born.

The entry fee that we have already paid for the race is donated to the Trinity Hospice, so we are battling for two good causes in this one event.
