Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On June 14th, all five of us are going to cycle 23 miles around the beautiful Rutland Water, in aid of MNDA. Our target is to complete this in less than 3 hours! I will also have the extra challenge of motivating/persuading/pushing/dragging/shouting at (delete as appropriate) our 9 year old when his legs tire and he loses interest - so please take that 'extra effort' into account when donating!
All funds raised will go to researching a cure for the disease and to support people living with Motor Neurone Disease.
Motor Neurone Disease is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone at the same time, or in any specific order.
We appreciate your generosity in helping us support those living with the disease.
