Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundrasing page.
Just before Christmas my Mum was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and after beginning treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital (RBH) in Reading it was found to be very aggressive, prolific and ultimately terminal. Having already lost her twin sister, my Aunt, to leukaemia ten years ago it is something that has had a massive affect on my family.
I have entered the Reading Half Marathon this year, to be held on 21st March, and would be grateful if you would sponsor me so that I can raise money to fund research into treatments for leukaemia and towards the care of future leukaemia patients at the RBH. The hospital has made huge steps forward in recent years in this area and I would like to help further this progress with any money I can raise.
