Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the age of 21 our Timur had his first Seizure which was a great shock to us as he was a very fit young man and rare for him to even suffer from a common cold . After many visits and tests with the NHS and Private we were told there was no evidence as to why he was having seizures , they diagnosed him with epilepsy he was given medication and was told that with control these seizures would pass and probably stop.

Timur was suffering with sleep seizures  and had his seizures during the night while asleep , at the age of 23, eighteen days before his 24th Birthday we lost our Timur to SUDEP, sudden unexpected death in epilepsy and although rare 1 in every 1000 adults are effected by this every year.

For everyone that knew Timur they will remember the strong young man that loved to help people and put friends and family before himself , he was a true entrepreneur and had he been given time would have shared his success for the good of others , we miss him everyday, he would have loved the fact   that we were raising money to help and support others and had we been aware of Epilepsy Action it may have helped us understand exactly what Timur was going through.

Epilepsy can effect anyone at any age .Around 87 people are diagnosed with epilepsy every day .Over 500,000 people in the UK have epilepsy, that's about 1 in every 100 people .

On the 5th of July I will do a 10 mile walk with my family in Memory or our Timur please help us raise as much as we can to support this great charity and raise awareness in the hope that we can eliminate any loss of life .
