Saigonchildren works to bring a brighter future to disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Vietnam by taking practical steps to ensure that the children most in need get an education. By donating to our programmes, you are giving a helping hand to bring a fairer start to children's life.

Story

For myself this is a new challenge to support the community “the children of Vietnam” with 300 km by bicycle from Hue to Hoi An for 3 days.

“SCC” - Saigon Children's Charity - was founded to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children get an education, a fairer start in life & escape from poverty through education and training.

It is well known that education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and help children realise their dreams.  However, there are still many children in Vietnam who have limited educational opportunities and are at risk of leaving school due to poverty and hardships such as health problems and family breakdown.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, each year “SCC” Child Development Programme provides scholarships to around 2,500 disadvantaged children and young people from kindergarten to university to enable them to continue their education and reach their full potential.

In 2017 alone the CCA raised over $73,000 to help children, and in total, over the span of 8 years, this event has raised over $US350,000, providing substantial support for the critical work saigonchildren does in Vietnam.

I appreciate your kind donations, 100% of donations go to the charity & will make a difference large or small.
