This is a horrible disease and we have a dear friend who is affected.  By contributing to this fundraising event we hope that in some small way we can collectively hasten the time when a cure can be found and support those living with this disease.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the neurones in the brain and spinal cord, messages stop reaching muscles which leads to weakness and wasting.  MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.
