In December 2011, my mum was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  Thankfully mum is now in remission.

Seeing my mum go through such a tough treatment to beat cancer has really motivated me to give something back to the dedicated people who are working so hard to find a cure for such a terrible illness. This is why I have decided to undertake my challenge to raise funds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

I have now completed my challenge of running all four races at the first ever Bournemouth Marathon Festival, a total of 48.6 miles!  It was a pretty big challenge but nothing compared to what my mum has been through whilst undergoing her treatment.
