Story
That thing has happened. I went to cheer on a mate of mine at the London Marathon this year and got completely swept up in the atmosphere on the day. I sensibly thought, I've never got a marathon in me - so I thought I'd play it safe and enter the Royal Parks Half. I slept on it, and thought where's the fun in playing it safe - so decided to enter the London Marathon as well - there was no chance in a million years I'd get both spots anyway.
I did get both spots - so here we are.
I'll be running the Royal Parks Half this October
And then the London Marathon in April 2024
I'm bang up for the challenge as I'll be raising money for an amazing charity close to my heart - Missing People.
170,000 people a year go missing in the UK, Missing People offer them a lifeline and also provide vital support to affected families at a time that throws up a lot of questions - that can often go unanswered.
My cousin Rem went missing in 2019 - the bloke is my absolute idol and has always been a massive inspiration for me, so doing something like this to keep his name going is something that is really important to me.
All day every day we do it for Rem
Cheers
