For the second year in a row I shall be doing the London Marathon. However, for 2010 this is not the only challenge I am taking on - the marathon is only the warm-up event for the Nice Ironman on June 27th.

 

For all the best reasons in the world, it is difficult to quite explain why I've decided to do an Ironman. Nevertheless, in completing it (hopefully) I would love to raise some more money for MS Trust, a charity that will continue to support someone close to me and crucially one of my friends.

 

I don't ask for much, just a little contribution that can go along way. Feel free to be creative with your donations - perhaps the challenge of a 3hr 10 min marathon or a sub 11 hr Ironman might work. I'm not sure either are that possible but at least you have some idea of what I think I might just be capable of. As I type/create this page I am in South of France training and the size of the challenge ahead - 112 miles on the bike to name just one of the three disciplines - is becoming ever more a reality! So if money isn't possible, any form of enouragement will go along way...
