We fund research, campaign and support to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

Well as you may know my husband was diagnosed with Bowel cancer in November 2012 which was a massive shock for us both! On a positive note Simon is doing well and has just started his 6 month course of chemotherapy.

Although I have been supporting Simon through this difficult time I felt that I needed to do something else to show my support! So I have decided to run the Sheffield half marathon in May 2013 to raise money for a charity that has been of great support to Simon, 'Beating Bowel Cancer'. I have undertook this race before in 2007 but haven't done much running since so I know it will be a personal challenge and would like to beat my time from last which was 2hrs 4mins 58seconds!

So I'm asking for your support and to dig into your pockets and sponsor me, any amount is great no matter of the size it will be appreciated I'm hoping to raise £1000. You can sponsor me by text just text BBCC77 £1-£10 (select your value) to 70070,it's that simple!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanking you ALL in advance
