I am taking part in the biggest challenge of my life, a 173ft abseil off the Bell Tower at the Trafford Centre on Sunday 26th September 2010 in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

I have 2 nephews Damon and Ben who have the most severest form known as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which can shorten boys life-expectancy to 18 years on average.

By doing this challenge I hope to raise money to fund vital research to find a treatment for which there is currently no cure at this moment in time.
