I have had the honour and pleasure of working with two of the most inspiring and brave women I have ever met.

Levi's star was founded in 2008 following the loss of their son/grandson at just age 6&1/2 to a brain tumour just 6 weeks after diagnosis. Following this tragic event the ladies set up the Levi's star charity in 2008 and work with Macmillan to support children and young adults in Yorkshire. 

Their key objectives are :-

• Offer grants to children with brain tumours in the Yorkshire area
• Raise awareness about this devastating disease
• Promote research into centres for cures of brain tumours & research into survivorship programmes
• Offer support to children/young adults living with the effects of a brain tumour during and after treatment
