This year I am taking to waters of the UK's biggest natural lake, Lake Windermere to swim 1 mile to raise money for Brysons Animal refuge.

The shelter is extremely close to my heart, having spent many weekends walking dogs, cuddling cats and fundraising. I have one dog and 2 of my 3 cats are Brysons cats. My dog Lenny was a long term resident at Brysons. With the help of the staff we managed to transform a frightened, sad dog into one of the most loving dogs I have ever met.

The shelter rely solely on donations from the public and currently are struggling financially. We really do not want to see our shelter close. They do an amazing job and really need all the support they can get.
