Welcome to our fundraising page! We were foolhardy enough to sign up for the Olympic sized triathlon in Windsor this June. Did you hear us.... ? We said Olympic! Okay so it sounds more impressive than it is. But still, each of us will be conquering 1.5 km of swimming in the murky Thames, 40 km of lugging the penny-farthing up hill (both ways) and 10km of convincing our legs to run/walk/crawl after all the previous punishment. On top of all this, it will be a 6:00 am start. Oh Joy!We are raising funds for Outward Bound because it teaches kids something we have learned from our years on this playground we call earth. Push yourself, don’t be afraid to give it a go and put yourself out there. When you do this, good stuff happens (if we can be so eloquent)! Simple really, but not a bad way to live your life.Now at the beginning we said it was a fundraising page. And we mean it! We want you to give it a go. Dig deep in your pockets and give generously. You will feel all warm and fuzzy that you are helping such a worthwhile cause. You can also feel smug that with your donation we will have to work that much harder because we know you are counting on us to tri hard and finish the race smiling.
