I have witnessed the harsh realities this disease brings to families, both personally and through the people I have met on this journey.  We can't help those we have lost but we can try and make a better future, through research, so that others don't have to endure the same.  I hope for a future where breast cancer can be detected early and easily and managed effectively as a chronic disease and I believe, with our help this research team can make great progress.
