Cancer is a disease which can affect one in three people in the UK.
It steals the lives of many innocent loved ones every day and has such devasting impacts on both those suffering and their families surrounding them.

It is my personal aim to raise money for this charity due to my own personal loss because of  this terrible disease, and through donating and raising money we are taking one step further to finding a cure and preventing it affecting the lives of others.

By climbing Snowdon, I am undertaking a personal challenge with a meaning. To not only raise money but also raise awareness and make my own contribution to something I have full belief in.

This disease affects both men and women, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, brothers and sisters. Please be generous in giving and maybe one day we can reduce the loss of life and suffering that so many people have to endure.

I will be climbing in memory of my mum who lost her life so young to this disease.
