We Provide care to disabled young people to empower them to live life to the full.

Story

Juno (7 years old) and Orlando (more than 40 years old!) are embarking on a 17km walk across Exmoor with almost 1000meters of climbing to raise money for the Chiltern Centre; a Henley based charity that helps assist families who care for a child with a complex medical need, profound learning or physical disability.

The distance for adult legs is challenging over the course of a day but the real aim is for Juno to challenge herself, while also raising money for those less fortunate than herself. We have partnered up with Barnaby and his daughter Sophie to form the "Chiltern Unicorns". All going well we aim to cover the course in about 8 hours; we will be taking plenty of Cadburys mini eggs for motivation (for the kids).

Please donate what you can to a really worthy cause.

Thanks Orlando and Juno

The Chiltern Centre provides bespoke, individualised care to young people with learning disabilities. It gives them opportunities to socialise, learn new skill, move towards greater independence and have fun. All the while it provides their families with a much needed break from their caring role.
