Fel gwŷr pawb mae'r wŷl genedlaethol yn bwysig iawn i ddiwylliant Cymru, ac fe fu yn feithrinfa i lawer o dalentau rhyngwladol, ond mae angen codi rhai miloedd er mwyn sicrhau y gellir ei chynnal pan ddaw i Wrecsam. Thank you for visiting this page.  On Easter Sunday, together with 5 friends I begin a 251 mile cycle ride from Holyhead to Cardiff.  We shall be following the Welsh Sustrans route - 'Lôn Las Cymru' - through some of Wales' beautiful countryside, and the occasional mountain range!   Not only should it help me loose some weight and improve fitness it is an opportunity to raise money for two good causes:

      and the Welsh National Eisteddfod which is hosted in Wrecsam in 2011.

This page is for gethering donations for the National Eisteddfod, the largest festival of its kind in Europe, which is held each August in a different part of Wales each year.  In 2011 it will be hosted in Wrexham. This cultural event cater's for everyone's tastes with music, dance, theatrical productions, literary events and concerts and also arts and craft competitions. Global stars such as Bryn Terfel, Kathryn Jenkins, Llyr Williams and more recently Men Aloud, will all admit the role of the National Eisteddfod played in their success.  To host this itinerant festival requires considerable resources and I hope you will assist by sposoring my bike ride and thus donating funds towards the 2011 event.
