Story

Three Peaks Charity Event in Aid of E

1.         Erskine (formerly ) was founded in 1916 to care for the wounded returning from World War I. Today, the charity provides unrivalled respite and long term care for young and old ex-Service men and women throughout . Over 70,000 have been cared for by Erskine and demographics indicate there is demand for places up to at least 2020. More information on can be found at http://www.erskine.org.uk/.

2.         To help highlight this cause and raise money for members of 1 (Ouston) Squadron intend to attempt the National 3 Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and ) on 12-14 March 10. The team will be made up of 18 serving soldiers consisting of phase 2, 3 and permanent staff all from 1 (Ouston) Squadron.

3.         This challenge is renowned for its gruelling and arduous terrain but it will be made even more testing due to the lack of daylight hours and weather at this time of year. The team hope to complete the challenge in less than 24 hrs.

4.         It would be very much appreciated if you could sponsor a member of the team (who will visit your office soon) or make a donation at the following web site http://www.justgiving.com/oustontrail.

5.         Your help and any donations will be greatly appreciated.
