Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hey guys,

I'm really bad at this sort of thing so I'll try and keep it as short and pain-free as possible. For those who don't know my sister and I unfortuantly lost our Mother (Lorna Frost) to Cancer on the 18th Decemeber 2013. It's a horrible disease that affects so many peoples lives and its important that we remember the ones we've lost, and try and do something for those who still have a chance.

It's for this reason I've decided to run from Inverness to London, around 534miles. I understand it sounds utterly ridiculous and something that is said with a light heart, and for that reason I totally understand your skepticism; however I mean this with everything I am.

The run will take place between the 15th July - 6th August, with the route being:

Inverness to Aviemore

Aviemore to Kingussie

Kingussie to Blair Atholl

Blair Atholl to Bankfoot

Bankfoot to Milnathort

Milnathort to Edinburgh

Edinburgh to Lauder

Lauder to Jedburgh

Jedburgh to Otterburn

Otterburn to Corbridge

Corbridge to Fir Tree

Fir Tree to Great Smeaton

Great Smeaton to Easingwold

Easingwold to Ricall

Ricall to Thorne

Thorne to Elkesley

Elkesley to Grantham

Grantham to Stamford

Stamford to Huntingdon

Huntingdon to Royston

Royston to Cheshunt

Cheshunt to The Mall

(Subject to small change)

I must admit a part of this run is for me. It would be very easy to do just a normal marathon, but in life its important to challange yourself to the very limit. Its important to do things while you still can, a lesson that me and my sister have had to learn the harder way.

The run is mainly in memory of my Mum, however if it's possible to spare even a pound, it'll make all the difference to future families.

I'll try and keep anyone who's interested as updated as possible with how training is going. This IS going to happen.
