Story
Thanks for visiting my Just Giving Page!
So over the past 29 years of my life my level of fitness has definitely been questionable - so its time for a challenge! I'm going to take it up a notch. What better way to do something about it than raise money for a good cause! Spinal Research! So please dig deep and donate now. Your support will spur me on and support an incredibly important cause.
Update: 18/04 - Marathon = DONE! A hot day slowed me down but completed in just over 5 hrs - which made me the fastest member of my family over 26.2 miles! (just). Thanks for all your donations!
Completed Events:
The London Marathon (April 17th): I always wanted to run the London Marathon and I have finally managed to secure a charity place with Spinal Research!
Watford Half Marathon (6th Feb) – 13 miles – I managed to finish! I spent the 3 days leading up to this very ill - but I had to compete and complete the course! 2:30 + some!

Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop reliable treatments for paralysis caused by a broken back or neck. Every year more than 800 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord. Spinal Research raises money to fund research into clinical treatments as well as vital basic science research. Thanks to such pioneering research, paralysis can now be treated and we stand on the brink of applying therapies that will restore movement and feeling and transform the lives of paralysed people
