Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In January this year we lost Lynda Brown following a brave four year battle against cancer.  Lynda's struggle was made more bearable thanks to the work of Trinity Hospice where she spent the final few weeks of her life.

The hospice only survives thanks to charitable donations of £5 million per year and Lynda's family have pledged to repay the cost of her care which is estimated at around £40,000

In memory of Lynda and to help the hospice continue to support others, her youngest son Christopher and family friends Dickon and Katy will be all be taking part in "run to the beat"  (www.runtothebeat.co.uk) a half-marathon in Greenwich on September 26th (Lynda and husband Mike's 40th wedding anniversary) in order to help fulfill the family pledge.

Those who knew Lynda will remember her love of musicals and it is because of this (and because we want your money) that we will be running as the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz.
