<p>Don't have time or brain power to make this page fancy at the moment but hoping some of you will help raise money to save bats.</p>
<p><strong>Urgent help needed for Bat Helpline Out of Hours Emergency Service</strong></p>
<p>If you find an injured bat on the ground you have to act fast. The bat is small and vulnerable. You need the right advice at the right time before predators take advantage and dehydration and exhaustion take their toll. For many people this is where the Bat Helpline is vital. Without the bat helpline many bats won't make it through this summer.</p>

<p>But the Out of Hours Emergency Service is under threat. This lifeline recently lost vital government funding needed to support the volunteers. Last year volunteers handled over 1000 calls saving hundreds of bats' lives and identifying new roosts which can be better protected in the future. This year already more calls have been taken than ever before, many roosts are being discovered during building works, stray baby bats are being reunited with their mothers and injured bats are being rescued, rehabilitated and released. This is the busiest time of year on the Bat Helpline, and the months ahead are expected to be even busier, <strong>IF </strong>the Out of Hours Emergency Service can be kept running</p>
<p><strong>£7,180 is urgently needed to keep the Out of Hours Service running.</strong></p>
